Central Park
Three Dancing Maidens Fountain

$75.00$145.00

The Untermyer Fountain is a memorial to the lawyer and civic leader Samuel Untermyer (1858-1940) and his wife cultural patroness and suffragist Minnie Untermyer (1859-1924). Unique bronze sculpture by German sculptor Walter Schott depicts a circle of three young dancing ladies in wet clingy dresses. Standing in an oval pool and surrounded by elliptical flower beds, Three Dancing Maidens joyfully animate the garden, stretching their arms to form a circle. This fountain is adornment of Conservatory Garden that carves a beautiful oasis within Central Park. The fountain was placed in the center of the northern section of the Conservatory Garden in 1947.
Great for residential or business decor and gift for any occasion.
